About Cape Jazz and Blues…
Throughout the course of their jazzy musical union, the members of Cape Jazz and Blues have won over the hearts of music lovers from all walks of life. The founding members - drummer Ray Goulet, bassist Geoff Peck, and keyboardist Casey Butler - first began playing together while studying at Barnstable High School. They performed at a variety of venues on Cape Cod. After they moved on to various area colleges, the boys still played together around Massachusetts. Now, all these years later, back on Cape Cod, joined by guitarist Phil Odence, vocalist Scott Wahle, and Chris Reidy & Rick Jorgensen on horns, they still enjoy discovering, recording, and playing new songs as well as old favorites. They play a range of jazz—Dixieland to modern—and blues, and even stray into rock and roll. Enjoy covers of classics and original tunes.
